In the hunting lodge is the oldest and of about 144,000 liters largest preserved wine barrel (Guinness Book of Records). The 22 m high Bismarckturm is located west on the edge of the Spiegelsberge.

Insights into the history of Halberstadt can be found in the Cathedral of St. Stephen & St. Sixtus. Immerse yourself in a bygone era and take a look at the cathedral treasury. The building was built between 1236 and 1486 after the model of French cathedrals and is visible from afar.
Historically impressive is the existing half-timbered building, which is located in the lower part of Halberstadt. Halberstadt and its surroundings are particularly rich in medieval buildings and locales. Churches and monasteries have shaped the Harz foothills for centuries.
